The TIENET®
Professional Improvement Plan (PIP) designed for the client maximizes
the instructional performance information provided by the systems
technology tools. The PIP is based on an analysis of student performance
results and can incorporate a skill certification process. It delivers
professional development through a combination of online and instructor-led
training.
E-Learning
A catalog of courses, offered through an e-learning service provider,
is available to the school client. Educators are scheduled into courses
based on what would be most useful to the students with whom they are
working. Professional staff competencies are certified through a process
of online and performance-based assessment supervised by district personnel.
Leadership
Institutes
These quarterly seminars are designed to strengthen internal school instructional
leadership at improving student performance. Participants use their own
data to plan and implement effective instructional programs. Participants
may include superintendents, principals, coordinators, supervisors and
individual school team leaders who have responsibility for improving student
and staff performance.
